Peak Performance to Celebrate 40th Anniversary with 13-Stop Film Tour, Tickets Are Free

Swedish outerwear brand Peak Performance is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a time-honored fall ski-industry tradition: watching ski films. The brand will embark on a 13-stop film festival tour spanning two continents and showcasing talent from across Peak Performance’s athlete roster.

The Peak Performance Film tour kicks off on October 8th in British Columbia, at Vancouver’s Hollywood Theater. Films from the CHEF crew, the FLINTA-led Bucket Clips crew, and freeskier Yu Sasaki will all be shown in Vancouver. Athletes and filmmakers will help introduce films before helping close out the evening with giveaways and an afterparty.

Following a touchdown in Canada, the tour heads to Europe for the remaining twelve stops. Athletes like Max Palm, Hedvig Wessel, Yu Sasaki, Tao Kreibich and Paddy Graham, will show film projects, including solo projects from Wessel and Sasaki, and the Peak Performance team film, Stop Go Stop.

The tour will hit major cities across Europe, with stops in Stockholm, Berlin, Munich, Copenhagen, the Lake District, Oslo, Trondheim, London, Innsbruck, Chamonix, Åre and Vielha. Each stop on the tour aims to not just showcase films, but bring together local ski communities ahead of winter.
