Red Bull Rampage Will Return To Its Original 2001 Venue, Here's How To Watch

The Super Bowl of Mountain Biking, otherwise known as Red Bull Rampage, is back for another edition in Southern Utah’s striking desert landscape.

Red Bull Rampage has bounced around a few different venues in recent years, and recently announced something that should have the “OG” fans of freeride mountain biking excited—Red Bull Rampage is returning to the venue where it debuted way back in 2001.

“The 2026 event will feature the world’s top 12 female freeride mountain bikers and the top 18 male athletes. The women’s competition takes place on Thursday, October 8, before the men’s event follows on Saturday, October 10. Both fields will take on the same iconic landscape that helped shape the sport’s most influential event.

“The competition zone spans approximately 364,000 square meters, which is equivalent to approximately 51 standard soccer fields, across the men’s and women’s venues. For 2026, the site will feature Red Bull Rampage’s longest vertical drop at +206 meters. A new start gate will sit roughly one-third higher than those used during the 2001–2004 competition years,” writes Red Bull.
