The Latest PlanetSKI Snow Report is Out
The freezing level remains around the 2,000m mark, but that will rise later in the week as the temperatures are set to go up.
Many resorts are now closed and a further swathe of resorts shut last weekend, but there are still options available as we have reported in this updated post:

“Most regions will be dry with some sunny spells, but there will also be some cloud bubbling up with the odd shower (snow 1800-2000m) or even isolated thunderstorm, mostly in the southern and eastern Alps,” said the lpine weather expert, Fraser Wilkin from weathertoski.co.uk, on Monday.
“The weather in the Alps will remain broadly similar until the middle of the week when it is set to turn increasingly sunny and warm from Wednesday onwards.”
If you are heading out on a late a trip then general conditions at the high-altitude resorts are good for the time of year.
It is icy first thing and then it softens up as the day progresses, but there is still a good coverage of firm snow at altitude on many north-facing slopes.
Our top tips for skiing at this time of year are Tignes and Val Thorens in France.
