Skier Pulls Off Impossibly Long Hydroplane Across Norwegian Glacial Lake (367 Feet)

367 foot skiing pond skim

Wild footage out of Norway where professional skier Benjamin Forthun hit 65mph on his skis before hydroplaning an incredible 367 feet across a glacial lake:

“After way too many soaked ski boots I finally made it over. Measured it to 367feet across. Not sure, but maybe the longest pond skim ever??” -Benjamin Forthun

Forthun did not specify how many attempts he made before successfully skiing across lake but he certainly had plenty of daylight to work at this northern latitude. Undetermined if this is a world record but it certainly seems a contender.
