Colorado’s Snowiest Ski Area Concludes Season With Being 100% Open

Pagosa Springs, Colorado — While it was a below-average winter for Wolf Creek, the Colorado ski area is ending the season on a high note.
Wolf Creek Ski Area has only received 192″ this season, it has picked up 19″ in recent days. This has replensihed the snowpack and reopened terrain across the Colorado ski area. Wolf Creek is 100% open going to its closing weekend. This weekend will be full of fun events, such as festivities on Easter.
While Wolf Creek isn’t on any major multi-mountain pass, lift tickets will be affordable this weekend. Local’s Appreication Rates are in effect, with it only costing $70 for adults. The lifts will be spinning Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. After Sunday, Wolf Creek will be closed for the season.

Situated in Southwestern Colorado, Wolf Creek features 133 trails across 1,600 acres, 11 lifts, and a vertical drop of 1,604 feet. Averaging 430 inches of snow, it’s the snowiest ski area in the state. There’s also a small trail network for Nordic skiers. Recent additions include a quad chairlift for a beginner terrain pod and a new snowboard rental shop.
