Vallee Nevado in Chile Extends Season to November After Yet More Record-Breaking Snowfall

The resort has seen over 7m of snow this season and the new closing date means the resort will have had a 143-day ski season.

It opened on June 19th.

“And yes… by everyone’s request, we continue skiing,” said Vallee Nevado on social media.

“Valle Nevado will continue its operating tracks until Sunday, November 8, in a season that continues to surprise us and allows us to arrive at a truly exceptional date.

“More snow. More lowdowns. More mountain.

“Before going up, always check our Mountain Report to learn about the trails, rides and services available.”

No hotels will be open, so the extension is aimed at local day-trippers.

Ski and snowboard rentals, rentals, lockers, guest services, retail and some restaurants will be open.

The extension is subject to weather conditions.
