Flip McCririck
Brad Holmes
Whether you know Brad Holmes for winning 70 mogul competitions on the world stage, or his hilarious antics in Matchstick Production films alongside Shane McConkey, it’s hard to deny his impact on the sport.
As one of skiing’s first “bad boys,” Holmes brought the sport into the 21st century and is a true freestyle pioneer.

With four Olympic appearances and two gold medals to his name, Ted Ligety is one of the most accomplished ski racers in American history. Oh, and he won 25 times on the World Cup Circuit and has five World Championship gold medals, in case you forgot.
Known for having one of the silkiest turns in the game, Ligety’s impact on American ski racing is still being felt today.

Scott Markewitz
Scott Markewitz
Markewitz has shot 21 POWDER Magazine covers and more than 500 international magazine covers throughout his storied career.

Matt Power
Jim Morrison and Hilaree Nelson
The iconic ski mountaineering pair will enter the Hall of Fame together. Known for the first ski descent of the Lhotse Couloir and countless other first descents, Morrison and Nelson were an inspiring duo that pushed the boundaries of what’s possible in ski mountaineering.
Nelson tragically passed away in an avalanche on Manaslu in 2022. Morrison has continued their legacy by completing the first ski descent of Great Trango Tower in Pakistan in 2024 and the first ski descent of Everest’s direct North Face via the Hornbein and Japanese Couloirs in 2025.

Matt Hansen
Tim Petrick
A longtime K2 executive and creative visionary, Tim Petrick was instrumental in the brand’s adoption of shaped skis during the 1994/95 season, which influenced the industry to ditch straight skis for parabolic. He was a public-facing spokesperson for the brand for years and led K2 to become the most popular American ski brand.
C.B. Vaughan Jr.
Vaughan is known for founding CB Sports, which reached $45 million in sales in 1985, but his world-record speed on skis, set in 1965, is what launched his career. Vaughan reached an astounding 106.53 mph in the feat, something we can’t fathom considering the gear of the time. He passed away in 2025.
