The Nubz Are Back With Another Unhinged Episode

After a long, dry summer, skiing’s favorite Nubz are back.

While Freeride World Tour (FWT) livestreams are all well and good when it comes to chronicling the Nubz’ best comp runs, there’s only one place where you can see the good, the bad, and the unhinged. That’s right: NUB TV is back with Episode 3.

In the latest episode of Richards’ and Rafford’s series with Armada, viewers can see: “Nubz get flown across oceans. Pow gets thrashed. Some teeth get lost. Follow along and call 1-800-SKI-NUBZ for a good time.”

In other words, the Nubz take a quick vacation mid-FWT season to go heli skiing with Crown Mountain Guides (because the best mid-FWT season vacation is more skiing, duh). Then, they head to Haines for the FWT’s first touchdown in Alaska at the YETI Haines Alaska Pro. Although conditions were reportedly “creamy”, Toby stomped his run, earning him his first-ever FWT win.

Then, the Nubz head back over the pond for the final stop of the FWT season, the Xtreme Verbier. From the looks of it, they manage to get in a local freeski event (that involves chugging beer out of a pitcher?) and celebrate Toby’s birthday, all while training very hard for their final competition.

“Went to AK just to freeze our asses off and learn heated socks are trash. Had the creamiest comp of the season. Headed back to the EU Early to get some good training days in before the Xtreme. And kept the celebrations pretty humble after the event,” said Richards.

Richards walked away with his third FWT win of the season and the overall title.

“I have only one thing to say. It was sabotage,” said Rafford, who came in second in Verbier and in the overall FWT standings.
