Mac Forehand Joins Armada's Stacked Athlete Team

Armada Skis is adding another heavy hitter to their already incredible stacked team roster. Two-time X Games gold medalist, Olympic silver medalist, and two-time FIS Crystal Globe winner, Mac Forehand has officially joined the brand. 

Forehand competes in big air and slopestyle, and has come to be known as one of the most talented and accomplished freestyle skiers of his generation. Raised on the slopes of Stratton, Vermont, Forehand started out skiing moguls alongside his older sister, and later switched to park skiing. He was previously sponsored by Chamonix-based Faction skis.

“Mac has been on our radar for a long time now. He’s one of the most complete skiers out there, competing at the highest level, filming full segments and putting in his time in the backcountry. That variety is a huge part of Armada’s DNA and something we look for in an athlete,” said Armada’s VP of Brand, Tom Suesskoch. “Most importantly, Mac loves skiing as much as anyone you’ll meet and is just an all-around great person to know and work with. We couldn’t be more stoked to welcome him on the program.”

Forehand has signed on with Armada for both skis and boots, with the ARV 88 and ARV 94 as his skis of choice, along with the AR ONE 130 boot.

Forehand joins the ranks of legendary park skiers like Tanner Hall, Sammy Carlson, Phil ‘B-Dog’, not to mention heavy hitters like Marin Hamill, Kim Boberg, Torin Yater-Wallace, and Max Palm.

Last winter, Armada notably added Ben Richards to their team as well, announcing it as he snagged the first FWT podium of the year. Richards and Armada teammate Toby Rafford went on to take first and second place overall on the Tour.

Earlier this week, Forehand was also drafted to the X Games League XC Whistler club for the upcoming season.
