Mountain Biker Descends Snow Covered 19,685 Foot Summit in Bolivia

Congratulations are in order for French professional mountain biker Kilian Bron who got sweet revenge three full years after failing an objective high in the Andes mountains of Bolivia.
“Without a doubt the biggest mission I’ve taken on in years.” -Killian Bron
Bron’s latest film project documents the incredible journey to South America which took him across Argentina and Bolivia including a personal perspective of all the preparation, the kilometers in the saddle, the challenges of riding at altitude, and his trip back to Huayna PotosÃ, a summit standing at over 19,685 feet above sea level, for his final attempt at climbing the mountain and then riding down on his Commencal META V5 mountain bike.
“The biggest mission of my career. After a failed attempt in 2022, I went back to face the Huayna Potosà : climbing and fully descending this 6,088m (19,973ft) summit, on the glacier, by bike. With my entire team, we gave it everything. What I lived through up there has haunted me for a very long time.” -Killian Bron
Shoutout to the Cholitas Escaladoras, a crew of Bolivian mountaineering women who Kilian met during his first attempt at riding down Huayna Potosà back in 2022. Kilian reenlisted the Cholitas Escaladoras who help guide him on the ascent of the towering peak and sent him on his way after some high altitude hugs.
If you are looking for a quality way to spend the next hour and 15 minutes, we highly recommend grabbing some snacks and your favorite beverage to settle in for this fantastic film. Well done!
