RMU Skis Unveils Its 2026–27 Collection, Including the New Apostle 105 Series
One of the more enigmatic independent ski brands out there, RMU Skis has always marched to the beat of their own drum. Earlier this year, they launched a new mountain bike called the Nighttrain, designed around a mid-pivot suspension design from industry legend Dave Weagle. Now, the brand is announcing the drop of their ’26/’27 ski line, which includes an entire new line of directional freeride skis under the Apostle moniker.
“Yes, we make mountain bikes now. No, we haven’t forgotten how to make skis,” says RMU Marketing Director Robby Burleson in a press release. “Skiing is where RMU started, and it’s still at the heart of everything we do.”
The all-new Apostle 105 line features a completely new shape, offered in three constructions aimed at three different types of skiers. There’s the standard Apostle 105, the metal-reinforced Apostle 105TI and the touring-oriented Apostle 105 Carbon.

The Apostle 105 is built around a poplar wood core and pre-preg fiberglass layup, combining low weight, torsional stiffness and a balanced flex with a 105mm waist and
low-rise rocker in the tip and tail. It’s available in four lengths from 168 cm to 192 cm. Next, the new Apostle 105 Ti takes the same shape and adds two sheets of Titanal, increasing torsional stiffness, damping, edge hold and stability for high-speed charging in funky snow. Finally, the new Apostle 105 Carbon features a pre-preg carbon fiber and fiberglass layup paired with a poplar and paulownia core to further reduce weight while maintaining the agility, energy and 105mm platform of the new shape. It also features an integrated skin clip in the tail.
Elsewhere in the line, the Apostle 96 and 96Ti, as well as the Apostle 114 return with graphic updates. The Professor 101, 111, and 121 return with their signature surfy twin-tip shapes, as do the Valhalla 97 and 107 women’s skis and Zephyr 88 piste ski.
