California Ski Resort Temporarily Transformed Into Motocross Race Course

All you motocross fans start your engines because an incredible race is coming to a ski resort in California.
The second annualĀ Big Bear MX Grand Prix by O’NealĀ is the culmination of six years of planning between motocross race promoters,Ā Swapmoto Race Series, and the team at Big Bear Mountain Resort in southern California. There will be race classes for riders from 5 years old all the way up to 60+ years old with different skill levels including pros.
Spectating take place on the ski resort patio deck along with the food and beverage services that the mountain accommodates. Some spectators will also be able to view the races from above as they will be spinning the chairlift over the course. Sponsors will have products for demo and sale, plus inaugural event merchandise.
The race course will be a unique layout utilizing the elevation, existing ski runs, and fire roads. The course celebrates the roots of motocross and have a design that will include several jumps and berm features.
