World’s Best Mountain Bikers Descend On Reno, Nevada For Zink Invitational 2026

40 of the world’s best mountain bikers were just in Nevada for the The Zink Invitational 2026, an annual invite-only freeride mountain bike event. Hosted across two locations near Reno, Nevada including Cam Zink’s 169-acre private compound, the rider-judged competition was a blend of monster freeride lines and slopestyle inspired trick jumps:

“There are no outside judges: the riders score each other. Professional freeriders, moto athletes, and the next generation of up-and-comers all session the same terrain side by side.”

For the first time the Zink Invitational 2026 serves as an official qualifier for the Natural Selection Tour with a $10,000 purse and an invite to next year’s event. The brainchild of snowboarder Travis Rice, the Natural Selection Tour (NST) features four sports: Surf, Bike, Snow and Ski. The Natural Selection Tour’s mission is to inspire people to forge a deeper relationship with Mother Nature.
