Motocross Riders & Mountain Bikers Take On The Same Downhill Course With Side-by-Side Sends

Mountain Biker vs Dirt Bikers

The folks at Monster Energy have been teasing the release of this groundbreaking video for months and now we finally have it, for the first time ever the world’s best freestyle motocross riders and freeride mountain bikers take on the exact same massive hillside course.

Feast your eyes on the world’s best athletes from both sports using the same roll-in, sending the same jumps and clearing the same gaps. To make it possible organizers built a multi-story scaffolding roll-in to give mountain bikes enough speed to clear dirt bike-sized features resulting in enormous side-by-side sends, full rider trains, and some of the biggest dirt features ever built.

The course was assembled using heavy machinery to reshape an entire hillside over 5 weeks. You can flip through a the photos of the construction process below.

The production value was top notch with high-speed FPV drones, POV cameras, and tight aerial tracking from the Monster Energy helicopter all expertly laced together to give the audience a close up perspective of all the action like never before.

Hats off to all the riders. This was truly a treat. Here is a list of everyone involved.
