Bode Miller Arrested on Drug Charges In Idaho
Olympic gold medalist and American ski racing legend Bode Miller was arrested on drug charges on June 6, 2026, in Fremont County, Idaho, according to TMZ and court documents obtained by the media.
Miller faces two misdemeanor charges: one for possession of a controlled substance and one for use or possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. According to TMZ, Miller was arrested with 4.1 grams of psilocybin mushrooms.
Miller posted a $5,000 cash bond for his release and is pleading not guilty to each charge. A pre-trial hearing is scheduled for July 29, 2026.

He claims that a passenger in his vehicle had a small amount of cannabis and a pipe, not mushrooms as previously reported by TMZ. Miller was allegedly pulled over for passing a vehicle on an Idaho highway. Miller’s full statement has been included below.

“I was pulled over for accelerating while passing another vehicle on a highway in Idaho. My friend, who was traveling with me, had a small amount of cannabis and a cannabis pipe in his possession which I was unaware of. We fully cooperated with the officer. I am hopeful the misdemeanor charges will be dropped once the facts are reviewed.
