Vermont Brewery Unveils "Largest Beer Pack To Exist", but You Can't Buy One
A Vermont brewery claims it’s made the longest pack of beer in existence.
Forget 30-racks or even 60-racks, Long Trail Brewing is giving Costco a run for its money with a 168-can pack of beer. Kirkland beer could never!
Long Trail’s mega-beer pack will make its debut on June 6, 2026, to celebrate National Trails Day. The 168 cans of Long Trail Ale (which measure out at 273cm long) will be dedicated to the 273-mile-long Long Trail, which follows the Green Mountains from Massachusetts to Canada.
There’s just one 168-can pack, however, so show up on June 6th if you want to see it!

Through its Ales for Trails initiative, Long Trail Brewing has raised more than $15,000 in support of organizations such as Vermont Mountain Bike Association, Vermont Huts & Trails, and Vermont Greenways Council to build, maintain, and provide access to trails for all types of year-round recreation.
At the June 6th celebration, you can learn more about local trails, meet the folks behind Vermont’s trail networks, make your own Trailmix bar, and indulge in Long Trail beers.
Long Trail will also have a limited-time return of Hit the Trail Brown Ale for the celebration.
‘What does this have to do with skiing?‘, you might be wondering. The answer is not a thing! But trail organizations like VMBA, Vermont Trails & Greenways Council, and Vermont Huts & Trails help maintain access to public lands and foster more accessible outdoor spaces, which we can support as skiers.
Also, we’d be lying if we said a cold Long Trail after a day of skiing didn’t hit!
