Deer Valley Lowers Price of Bike Park Passes, Full Trail System To Re-Open
Wasatch downhill bike enthusiasts rejoice, it’s nearly bike park season!
Solitude Mountain is opening its bike park for the summer season on Friday, May 22, 2026. Solitude’s bike park opened in 2023 with seven trails designed by renowned trail builders, Gravity Logic. This summer, Solitude is expanding its twilight lift hours to include Tuesdays and Thursdays, where Moonbeam and the bike park will stay open until 8 p.m.
Not far behind Solitude’s opening is Deer Valley‘s bike park, which opens for the season on June 19. Last summer, a significant portion of the Deer Valley bike park was out of commission as new chairlifts were installed and terrain was prepared for the resort’s massive winter expansion. This year, the bike park’s 60+ miles of trails are back in full force, including the four also built by Gravity Logic.

To soften the blow of so much of Deer Valley’s bike park being closed last summer, the two resorts teamed up to create the Wasatch Gravity Pass, which provides access to both bike parks. The pass is back this season.
Alongside unlimited access to both bike parks, the Wasatch Gravity Pass also includes scenic lift rides, dining discounts, and early access to other summer events. Additionally, Wasatch Gravity Pass holders will get to ride Deer Vally in an early season preview on June 13 & 14, 2026.
What’s even more exciting than access to two full bike parks this season is the pass’ updated pricing. While skiing seems to keep getting more expensive, the Wasatch Gravity Pass is actually cheaper than last year and gives access to more trails. When it first launched in 2025, the pass was $450. This year, it’s only $399.
Solitude’s bike park will also host two downhill events this summer in July. The Mountain States Cup takes place from July 2-5, and the Pro Downhill Series also returns to Solitude from July 15-19.
