Sunshine Village Wins Award
OnTheSnow users rate and review the resorts they visit for characteristics such as terrain, après-ski, family-friendly amenities, terrain parks, and more.
Banff Sunshine came out on top as the Best Overall Resort.
Banff Sunshine is home to more than 130 marked trails and 3,300 acres of skiable terrain across three massive mountains—boasting more than 3,500 feet of vertical drop.
There are accessible beginner chairs to wide-open, above-treeline runs and powder-filled bowls.
For experts, it offers challenging chutes and off-piste terrain widely considered some of the best in the world.
Banff Sunshine relies entirely on natural snow, receiving an average of more than 350 inches annually.
This, combined with its high elevation, grants it one of the longest non-glacial ski seasons in North America.
Here at PlanetSKI we are in agreement with the result and Sunshine Village was our local ski resort when we were based in Canada for more than two months last winter.
