A-Basin Extends Ski Season To May 10th After 14 Inch Storm

SUMMIT COUNTY, Colorado — Awesome news for all you Colorado skiers and snowboarders: After receiving 14 inches of snow, Arapahoe Basin announced on Saturday that it will stay open for one more weekend.
“After 14 inches of snow this week, we’ve decided to give the people what they want: More time at the legend! Mother Nature provided and so shall The Basin.”
The Colorado ski resort will be closed Monday through Thursday and then reopen Friday through Sunday. Lift tickets will be going for $39 on closing weekend and there will be live music in the base area. Heads up, there won’t be any beginner terrain open but plenty of intermediate and advanced runs to close out what will be the longest season in the state of Colorado. Woohoo!
A-Basin Closing Weekend Details:

-We will be closed Monday-Thursday (May 4-7) then reopen Friday-Sunday (May 8-10).
-$39 lift tickets will be available for our closing weekend. Plus, get your 26/27 A-Basin or Ikon Pass today and start using it as soon as today with Buy Now, Ride Now. Midweek Passes have access all week long.
-Lifts will spin as usual on this extended weekend (Friday 9-4, Sat/Sun 8:30-4).
-Live music in the Base Area with @moonstone_quill on Saturday, Sunday TBA!
-Up to 40% off select items at Arapahoe Sports until closing day.
-There is no beginner terrain at this time.
