Crans-Montana After Winter

Before we look at what is happening outside the winter months, we can mention some ski related news.

PlanetSKI is a ski web site after all.

Today, 1st May, lift passes go on sale for next season and they can be used for the ski lifts this

They will be available for purchase at pre-sale prices until 5th July.

During this period, season tickets will be available at a discounted rate.

After they will be available online or at the ticket offices at the standard price.

Outside of the ski season Crans-Montana is re-known across the golfing world.

Whilst the Noas Golf Course is open all year round, the Severiano Ballesteros course will open this Sunday – 3^rd May.

It is followed by the Jack Nicklaus course.

“Head back to the fairways and the backdrop of Alpine peaks, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player,” said the resort.

Summer Opening of the Bikepark

The first downhills of the season are just around the corner.

From 13th June 2026, the summer opening of the Crans-Cry d’Er cable car will officially kick off the Bikepark season.

It’s also a chance to discover the new Arnouva Flowtrail, a track designed to introduce riders to downhill mountain biking.

Wildstrubel by UTMB® is almost sold out

With over 5,500 entries already, this edition of Wildstrubel by UTMB®, which is taking place between 10 and 13 September 2026, is generating huge excitement.

While some races are already sold out, Wild 70 and Wild 55 are close to full: don’t wait too long to register.

Saturday 2nd May: Beer Trail

Taste craft beers in the great outdoors whilst meeting the brewers, along a route which offers views over the Rhone Valley.

14-16 May: Valais Wine cellar Open Days

Explore Valais wines directly with the winemakers in a friendly and authentic atmosphere in this unmissable Ascension weekend event!

Saturday 30th May: Crans-Montana Challenge

Take part in this day which is all about sport and community spirit, the programme for this popular festival includes a Colour Run, concerts and lots of entertainment at Ycoor.

Two major events are taking place in the resort.

On the golf front, the Omega European Masters is approaching, with advance ticket sales available until 31 July 2026.

As for skiing, following the second ticket sale open to the public since March, ticket sales for the FIS World Ski Championships will continue from 1 June 2026, with new tickets available for all races.
