Brand New Ski Simulator Opens In Quebec City
Home the largest indoor downhill skiing simulator in North America, Préski in Quebec City, Canada is excited to announce the installation of the a brand new SkyTechSport Olymp Ski Simulator.
Préski was already home to one of those inclined treadmill type ski training hills and installed the new SkyTechSport Olympic Ski Simulator unit in late March. SkyTechSport advertises that just 30 minutes on the machine can equal a whole-day of training on the slopes allowing athletes to perfect keeping their skis parallel and master the correct weight transfer and unweighting while building up ski-specific muscles.
Hidden inside the motion platform are computer-controlled motors that generate all the forces of skiing while multiple sensors allow the simulator to track every motion second by second:
