Ikon Pass Extends Lowest Price Deadline Following Technical Difficulties

If you were like me and tried to renew your Ikon Pass at the last minute last night but were unsuccessful, I come bearing good news.

Originally scheduled to end its early-bird pricing at midnight on April 17th, Ikon has now extended it by a couple of days. Following the conclusion of April 19th, prices will rise. For real this time (probably).

Users, including me, reported difficulties going through the online pass purchase process last night. The high demand was due to the early availability of Tier-1 pricing, which included options renewal discount benefits. These benefits were up to $50 off the pass, Marriott Bonvoy points, monthly mountain credits, a Backcountry.com coupon, or free gear rentals. After the deadline passes, the renewal options will reportedly no longer be offered.

Various changes were made for the 2026-27 season. New mountains were added, such as Devil’s Head, Giants Ridge, Granite Peak, Lutsen Mountains, SilverStar, SnowRiver, and Tamarack Resort.
