Prince Harry Takes to Slopes With Son Archie

A new Instagram video has been posted by Meghan Markle of Prince Harry skiing with his son, Prince Archie, aged six. The short clip shows the Duke of Sussex guiding Archie down a snowy slope, with the caption:

“My boys… Quick learner, Archie! So proud.”

The timing of the ski trip remains unconfirmed. Meghan was photographed with the children in Montecito on April 1, while Harry appeared in Washington, DC, days earlier to speak at a privacy conference.

Skiing has long been part of Harry’s life. As a child, he and Prince William were regular visitors to European resorts, including Klosters in Switzerland, where King Charles holidayed frequently and now has a cable car named in his honour. Harry also wrote in his autobiography Spare that Lech, another family favourite, felt like a “safe haven” and that he once imagined becoming a ski instructor there. He was photographed in the Austrian resort at the age of six himself, learning to ski alongside his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.

More recently, Harry and Meghan joined close friends for a 2024 ski trip to Powder Mountain in Utah, where their group shared photos celebrating the children’s enthusiasm on the slopes.
