Peak Performance Extends Freeride World Tour Sponsorship Into the 2030s

Peak Performance has renewed its long‑standing partnership with the Freeride World Tour (FWT), extending its role as Official Presenting Partner through 2031 following a dramatic season finale on the Bec de Rosses. The announcement, made as the 2026 champions were crowned in Verbier, reinforces a collaboration that has shaped the evolution of competitive freeride for more than a decade.

The extension builds on an existing agreement running until 2027, adding a further four years and signalling a shared commitment to athlete development, product innovation, and the continued global growth of freeride skiing and snowboarding. Since joining forces in 2016, the two organisations have worked closely to elevate the sport, supporting rising talents and established champions alike.

This year’s finale provided a fitting backdrop for the announcement. Victor de Le Rue (FRA) secured his fifth FWT Snowboard Men title, cementing his status as one of the sport’s defining figures. In Ski Men, New Zealander Ben Richards delivered a standout performance, winning the YETI Xtreme Verbier and claiming the overall title in the same day. The women’s categories saw a new generation break through: French rookie Lou Barin took both the Ski Women event win and the overall crown, while American newcomer Mia Jones matched the feat in Snowboard Women.

Peak Performance Brand President Stefano Saccone said the renewed partnership reflects a desire to continue investing in the sport’s future.

“From becoming the official skiwear partner in 2016 to watching our athletes rise to the top of the podium, it has been a privilege to see the Freeride World Tour evolve into the competition it is today. We’re excited to build on that legacy and inspire more people to explore the mountains.”

Beyond elite competition, the partnership will continue to support grassroots initiatives such as Freerid’her and the Freeride Women Days, both designed to broaden participation and strengthen community engagement.

With the new agreement in place, both organisations say the focus now turns to the next chapter: athlete‑driven product development, enhanced safety initiatives, and expanding the global freeride community.
