Kirsty Muir Collects Park and Pipe 25-26 World Cup Tour Winning Big Globe
Scotland’s Kirsty Muir has become the first British woman to win the ‘Big Globe’ for coming top overall across the various skiing park and pipe competitions.

As well as winning the crystal globe for coming top in freeski slopestyle, with 280 points, the 21-year-old from Aberdeen also placed third in the 25-26 Freeski Big Air World Cup Tour for a total of 470 points in the Overall Freeski Park & Pipe competition which also includes half pipe, in which Kirsty does not currently compete. That was 78 points more than the total of her nearest challenger, Canada’s Naomi Urness to give Kirsty the overall tour win.
“I’m still very speechless. It had definitely been a goal of mine for a while and this season had been going so well. You have to be consistent over the competitions. I’m just overall so stoked with how the season has gone,” said Kirsty.
