Shaun White Shares Adorable Moment With Little Snowboarder Girl
SWITZERLAND — Heartwarming stuff from the slopes of Laax in the Swiss Alps where Shaun White was on location hosting a three day Snow League event, freeskiing and snowboarding halfpipe competition. The Olympic champion was taking a lap in the park when he ran into a little snowboarder girl name Cashy that is the definition of stoke.
Shaun knows what its like being a little kid in the terrain park as he was a snowboarding prodigy from a young age and was happy to spend a few minutes with young Cashy to show her his method of riding up to a jump and scoping it out before sending it.
Being Shaun White has its perks, including the ability to take a special guest down a closed super-pipe prior to the competition to “dial it in.” What an incredible day for this little shredder:

This is a day we will never forget. Nick and I grew up idolizing Shaun and in the process of little Cashy learning to ride she as well has picked up on his influence of the sport we all love.
Being able to take laps with him and his crew while learning from him is way beyond what we could imagine from our joy of sliding down a mountain on a piece of wood. It was so much more than meeting our idol though. He was genuine, kind and you can tell he still has that grom stoke for the sport we all love!
