Snowboarder Goes Uphill Using Modified Drone Propellors

A series of heavy duty quad-copter drones propellors mounted to a stick provided enough momentum to take this snowboarder up a groomed run at a ski resort.

While this design is somewhat gimmicky and impractical for catching a ride up a mountain and then riding down in a normal snowboard fashion, if it could fly down by itself and meet you at the bottom we would really have something.

Very cool to see tinkerers finding creative uses for drones in outdoor sports.
