Families In Wales & Southwest Have The Advantage For February 2027 Half-Term

A specialist ski holidays travel agency is advising that with the impact of Olympic snowsports TV coverage from Italy and incredible snowfalls in the Alps, demand for skiing on peak dates next year is high. That usually means it makes sense to book your holiday as soon as you can to secure the resort, flights and accommodations you’d like.

Iglu Ski has good news for families with children being educated in Wales or the South West, as most schools there are starting half term before mid-month, meaning there’s a rare chance to grab a ski holiday at non-peak prices.

Head of Sales and Service for Iglu Ski, Philip Wright says, ‘With all the positivity around skiing at the moment, it’s not surprising that demand for next season is high. In particular, February half term is selling well, as holidaymakers in the Alps return after an amazing time away. We’re ready with more holidays than ever for next year, including flexible breaks, entire chalets, and some decent discounts on offer too.”

Iglu also note that large catered chalets, requiring a minimum of say 8 or 10 guests, which might suit large families or families holidaying together, are also on sale, but being snapped up fast.
