Atkin Qualifies Top For Women’s Olympic Freeski Halfpipe Final

TeamGB’s Zoe Atkin delivered a commanding performance in women’s freeski halfpipe qualifying at Milano Cortina 2026, topping the leaderboard with a 91.50 on her opening run.

Heavy snowfall made conditions tricky for the 23-year-old two-time X Games champion’s second attempt, and she wasn’t able to improve, but her first‑run score comfortably secured her place in the final.

China’s defending champion Eileen Gu secured fifth place in qualifying with an 86.50, recovering well after a crash on her opening run.

The women’s freeski halfpipe final is scheduled to start at 6:30pm UK Time on Saturday, 21 February.
