Intersport’s New Flagship Store in Méribel
Fast, efficient and exactly where you need it — Intersport’s new Rond Point ski hire store in Méribel sets the tone for a smooth week on the mountain.
The location is one of its biggest strengths.

Positioned right by the Rond Point, you can collect your skis and be at the lifts within minutes.
It’s also just steps from the iconic Le Rond Point Méribel — better known as “Ronnie’s” — making it perfectly placed for both first lifts and end-of-day après.
Few rental shops can claim quite such a prime spot.
Inside, the store is impressively modern and large, with plenty of space to move around comfortably even during busy periods.

The layout is well thought through: ski racks are clearly organised, service desks operate efficiently, and the retail area is separate and neatly presented.

It feels contemporary and professional, rather than cramped or chaotic.
As I have my own boots, I didn’t require a fitting.
The team quickly checked my booking, adjusted the bindings to match my boots, confirmed the DIN settings and ensured everything was set correctly before I left.

The process was straightforward but still thorough and reassuring.
I was issued with Fischer skis, which were in excellent condition — well maintained, sharp-edged and clearly high-quality equipment.

On snow, they felt stable and responsive, holding confidently on firmer pistes while remaining manageable as conditions softened later in the day.
A real advantage of hiring here is the flexibility offered.
As always with Intersport, the staff explained that skis can be swapped during the week depending on conditions.
If fresh snow arrives and you want something wider underfoot, you can change.
If it turns icy and you’d prefer a more piste-focused ski, that’s equally simple.
It removes the pressure of committing to one setup for the entire holiday.
The conditions in the 3 valleys remained stable and I was happy with my skis for the week, but knowing I had that flexibility was reassuring.
I also purchased a helmet in-store.
The retail section has a strong range, and staff were helpful without being pushy.
I was able to try several options and choose one that felt secure and comfortable.
The return process was quick and well organised.
Overall, Intersport’s new Rond Point store combines modern design, quality equipment and an unbeatable location beside Ronnie’s.
For ski hire in Méribel, it’s a convenient and professional choice.
