Britain’s Mia Brookes Take X Games Gold Again
Britain’s Mia Brookes has regained the X Games Gold in Women’s Snowboard Slopestyle which she first won aged just 17 back in 2024. Having finished with a bronze medal last year, Brookes, now 19, has won gold again this, with the Winter Olympics only a fortnight away.
Mia locked down the victory with a commanding 96.33 on her second run, a benchmark the rest of the field couldn’t get near. The standout pass featured a huge backside 1260 across the channel gap, capped off with a Cab 1440 on the closing hit
Brookes followed up her slopestyle gold with bronze in the Women’s Snowboard Big Air on Saturday, the fifth X-Games podium of her career already.
