If you’re in London and already daydreaming about cold smoke, chairlift chats and that first turn of the season, here’s a solid way to bring the mountains a bit closer: Salomon Winter Movie Night is coming to RSA House on Thursday 22 January 2026, in partnership with Ellis Brigham.

The evening runs 7pm-9pm at The RSA (Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce), 8 John Adam Street, London WC2N 6EZ, with a big-screen programme of nearly two hours of freeride ski films the sort of stuff that makes you immediately want to wax your skis and start checking snow forecasts you don’t even need yet.

What’s showing?

Expect a selection of films celebrating different stories, athletes and styles of skiing (with the line-up noted as subject to change). The current programme includes:

• Cold Calls (24 mins) – a season-spanning patchwork of stories from storm cycles in Whistler, powder in Japan, terrain in Norway, and rare sun in Alaska.

• Shometsu Zekkei (10 mins) – “vanishing landscape”, shot in Hokkaido and featuring local rider Tenra Katsuno.

• Where The Soul Remains (11 mins) – a work-in-progress segment you won’t be able to watch online, from a longer film due out next year, featuring exploration around Evolène in the Swiss Valais.

• Edge Of Reason (52 mins) – a Lyngen Alps story of steep lines, experience, and consequence, featuring Cody Townsend.
