Alaska’s Alyeska Resort is offering free skiing and snowboarding to EMS, firefighters, police officers, dispatchers, doctors, nurses, and other hospital workers next Friday, January 9th, as a thank you to all first responders.

Those hoping to take advantage of the free lift tickets next Friday should present an employee ID or state-issued ID credential to the Tram Ticket Office or Daylodge Ticket Office. Free tickets and skiing will be available between 10am and 5pm.

Alyeska is still experiencing early season conditions across much of the mountain, with a snow depth of 53 inches at the summit. 40 of 76 trails are currently open across the resort with all lifts spinning.
