Whistler Introduces Family Certified “Wonder Route”

If you have little ones in your ski crew you might be interested in Whistler Blackcomb’s new “Family Certified Route” which they recommend to skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels:
“If you’re three feet tall, the wonder of Whistler Blackcomb is supersized. Take your folks on a tour of the kid-only secret places, where wonder lives large. After all, we were all kids once.”
Pretty clever to have some on-hill destination for kids to look forward to and easy paths linked together for them to ski there. While not everyone will be a fan of castles and tree forts on ski slopes, those with munchkins in tow might find it awesome:

Blackcomb Mountain
Magic Castle: Cruise Expressway → Easy Out and find the wooden archway to this whimsical hideaway.
Sea to Sky Railway Trail: From Catskinner, follow Easy Out → Over Easy and spot the railway tower before turning onto the forest trail.
Ride down to Catskinner and upload to the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola for the next adventure.
Whistler Mountain
Enchanted Forest: From Ego Bowl, enter through the wooden arch and explore gentle glades and cruisy terrain.
Fuel Up at Chic Pea: From Emerald, head down Whiskey Jack – Upper for a cozy break at Chic Pea. Treat yourself to a quick lunch or one of our legendary cinnamon buns!
Tree Fort: After refueling, ride down Banana Peel → Bear Cub to discover the Whistler Tree Fort, a kid-favorite stop.
