DIY Ice-Melt Recipe, You Probably Already Have The Ingredients

Do you ever have one of the moments where you can’t believe you been living this long and didn’t know some simple trick that will make your life easier? Well, I just had one of those and think everybody should know.

It has to do with homemade ice-melt it comes from a decade old local nightly news segment from Greenville, South Carolina of all places. Best part is, there is very high probability you have all the ingredients you need between your kitchen and your medicine cabinets. Super simple, here its:

3 ingredients for making this ice melt solution:

1.  One quart of lukewarm water

2.  Three drops of dish washing detergent

3.  One ounce of rubbing alcohol

Obviously this will produce 1 quart of homemade ice-melt so just double, triple, quadruple depending on how much you need. Easy peasy lemon squeezy!
