The closures will be used for crews to build a temporary framework system in order to support future construction of a concrete cast-in-place segmental bridge. They’ll run from 9pm on Monday, December 15th, through 5am Tuesday, December 16th, and from 9pm Tuesday, December 16th, through 5am Wednesday, December 17th.

Motorists on I-70 Westbound will be forced to merge into one lane and exit at the US 6 (Exit 244) off-ramp. Once off, they’ll turn left to access the US 6 to return to I-70 westbound.

All work depends on the weather and is subject to change. If the weather impacts the work, the construction will be shifted and closures could occur from 9pm to 5am on Wednesday, December 17th, and Thursday, December 18th.
