Snow Camp Goes from Strength to Strength
Snow Camp has impacted more young lives than ever before.
It has widened its reach across the UK and connected with supporters on a larger scale than any other year in the charity’s history.
1,108 young people took part in our core snowsports programmes
55% came from the UK’s most deprived postcodes
42% identified as from ethnically diverse communities
53% were young women – our second year with more females than males
1,066 young people accessed our mental-wellbeing workshops
10,827 volunteer hours delivered by our inspirational Youth Volunteers
93% of young people reported learning new coping strategies
Last summer’s intake saw another 1,000+ young people experiencing snowsports for the very first time.
Its intermediate programme ran throughout October and November.
It’s where young people begin to see the snowsports industry as a place they belong – not just amongst their peers, but as future employees of passion-driven companies across the UK and potentially overseas.
“We’re so proud of every single participant and can’t wait to see what the new year brings as many progress onto the advanced stage of our programme journey,” said Snow Camp as the impact report was released.
