6? 7? New Hampshire Ski Resort Hops on Viral Trend With Discounted Lift Tickets
For technically being part of Gen Z, I am painfully behind the times on most social media trends and trends generally. Luckily, my coworkers are far more with it than I am and have informed me of a social media trend based on a Skrilla song called ‘Doot Doot (6 7)’ that originated on TikTok. Trust me, I know how much of a boomer I sound like already.Â
Anyway, apparently, as part of this trend, people find ways to use the numbers 6 & 7 for things and put the audio behind it. New Hampshire ski area Waterville Valley’s social media manager is clearly more with the times than I am and leaned into this trend to offer a screamin’ deal on lift tickets.
The 2026 POWDER Photo Annual is here! Look for a print copy on a newsstand near you, or click here to have a copy shipped directly to your front door.
The ski area, which opened for the 2025/26 season last weekend and as an early season special, is offering $67 lift tickets for this upcoming weekend, December 6 and 7. See what they did there? It’s okay if not, I still don’t really get it either.Â
Additionally, skiers aged 6 and 7 will also ski for free. You can buy these discounted lift tickets ahead of time on the Waterville Valley website. Weekend lift tickets at Waterville generally run $90, so it’s a great time to take advantage of this trend, even if you’re as lost as I am. Even if you’re still reliving the days of skinny jeans and overused Instagram filters being the only social media ‘trend,’ you can still enjoy this discount.Â
Also, hopefully other folks who are as confused as I am would also agree that Lil Wayne had the original take on whatever this is with ‘6 Foot 7 Foot’, which is indisputably a banger.Â
New Hampshire skiers, enjoy the discount and all that early-season snow!
