First Look: 25/26 Atomic x Arc'teryx Grottoflage Collab

It’s no surprise that limited-edition topsheets are all the rage these days–I mean what better way for a ski brand to make an already desirable product even more coveted? For the second year running, Austrian ski maker Atomic and Canadian outerwear maker Arc’teryx are teaming up to release a new line of special-edition products straight from the minds of two of their freeride athletes: NST Champion Craig Murray and backcountry freeride star Tonje Kvivik. This isn’t just a Supreme-style collab with a label slap on an existing product, it’s two like-minded companies coming out with some really sick looking product that skiers will actually use.

Last year, the two brands released a limited run of gear including Atomic Maverick 115 CTi skis and a Sabre Outerwear kit featuring Arc’teryx’s special “Grottoflage” camo print–Arc’teryx’s first-ever print pattern on their highest-end Gore-Tex technical outerwear. This year, the collab is returning with a full men’s and women’s line made up of all-mountain Maverick 105 and Maven 103 skis, men’s Sabre and women’s Sentinel jackets and pants (pink camo, anyone?) plus a Grottoflage helmet/goggle combo and poles. That’s a full head-to-toe collection for backcountry or resort riding in all kinds of conditions.

Though the only thing we’re asking ourselves is that “isn’t camo supposed to help you blend in?” Because this kit is sure to make a statement anywhere you go.
