Subaru Driver Makes Jaw-Dropping Save On Colorado Highway

If you’ve ever needed a reminder to slow down while driving in winter weather conditions, let this be it. This Subaru driver came unbelievably close to a serious crash while ripping down the hill on the west side of Eisenhower Tunnel along Interstate 70. If you’ve driven Colorado’s I-70 before you know how treacherous this section can be, and people still fly down it like they’re invincible. It’s pretty clear based on the other traffic that this guy was going too fast, and they’re incredibly lucky to have driven away.
The video was shared to social media by The Ski Doctor, a traveling ski and snowboard tuning service. They do infrared waxing, precision edge sharpening, and base repairs, taking house calls through their mobile ski shop. They do house calls to the Denver area on Tuesdays and the Summit County area between Wednesday and Monday, and can do events if desired.
Remember to slow down while traveling in winter weather, especially when on significant downhills. There are few worse ways to end a ski trip than crashing your Subaru before you even make it to the mountain.
