New Hampshire Ski Resort Offers Free Skiing For Town Residents To Celebrate Opening Day

Despite not originally planning to operate until later this week, New Hampshire’s Black Mountain is set to open for a powder day celebration tomorrow, December 2nd, from 10pm-4pm, with free tickets for locals and passholders at other mountains.
Free skiing will be offered to all residents of Jackson, New Hampshire, as a thank you for making the ski area what it is today. Season passholders at other mountains that aren’t operating on Tuesday will also be welcome to join in on the free skiing.
Those hoping to take advantage of the free skiing and snowboarding must register online prior to their arrival. If you’re not a local and don’t have a season pass to a different, closed ski area, lift tickets will cost just $25 for opening day.
Tuesday is expected to come with significant snowfall at Black Mountain, with between 6 and 9 inches of new snow falling across parts of New Hampshire between Tuesday and Wednesday. The base lodge will be open with food and drink specials all day, and live music will kick off at 1pm.
