Skiers hoping to secure an Epic Pass for the 2025/26 winter season—listen up!

The last day to secure an Epic Pass for the season is Thursday, December 4, 2025.

After the 4th, Epic Passes, including 1-7 day Epic Day Passes will no longer be available. Epic Passes are currently listed at $1121 and Epic Local Passes are $833. Epic Day passes start at $64.

If you’ve been waiting on buying that pass, or booking your ski vacation to a Vail Resorts-owned mountain, now is the time. Epic Pass holders also get Epic Friend Tickets, which give friends and family members 50% off daily lift tickets to Epic Pass mountains. Additionally, those using Epic Friend Tickets can apply the cost of their discounted ticket towards a 2026/27 Epic Pass.

The Epic Pass is one of the biggest conglomerate ski passes on the market. It gives pass holders access to 41 ski areas across North American and quite a few more internationally.

Colorado ski resorts Keystone, Vail, and Breckenridge are all a part of the Epic Pass and are already spinning lifts for the 2025/26 season. Not far behind these three are other Colorado ski areas like Crested Butte and Beaver Creek, which are both scheduled to open November 26, conditions dependent.

Vermont Epic Pass ski areas Stowe, Okemo, and Mount Snow are all benefitting from an onslaught of early season snow in the eastern US and are all targeting November 22 as an opening day. Other Epic Pass resorts like Park City Mountain Resort, Whistler Blackcomb, Heavenly, and Kirkwood shouldn’t be too far behind.

Ahead of the 2025/26 season, Vail Resorts and Epic Pass also announced their partnership with ride-share app, Uber. Users can now purchase Epic Passes and lift tickets in the app as well as book rides directly to the mountain and gift rides to other users.
