This Incredible Woman Airdrops Thanksgiving Turkeys To Folks Living In Remote Alaskan Cabins

Esther Sanderlin-Keim  dropping turkeys

Cheers to Esther Sanderlin-Keim who celebrates a uniquely Alaskan Thanksgiving tradition where she fly over remote cabins and homesteads in a bush plane and airdrops turkeys to people would otherwise not have access to the holiday staple.

Esther has been dropping “turkey bombs” for the last 4 years and delivered 32 birds by way of bush plane in 2024. Her mission is simple and noble: to deliver the spirit of Thanksgiving, one turkey bomb at a time.
