The Story of 4FRNT Skis as Told By The Iconic Brand's Founder
In case you missed it, 4FRNT founder and professional skier Matt Sterbenz is back at the brand after a multiple-year hiatus.
POWDER print editor Derek Taylor (DT) wrote a story earlier this week celebrating Sterbenz’s return. Part of DT’s story was announcing that a short documentary film about Sterbenz and 4FRNT Skis would air at a live show in Salt Lake City.
Crowds packed Fisher Brewing for the show on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, which we heard was a fantastic experience, but 4FRNT wasted no time in providing the film for all of us to enjoy on YouTube.

Everybody at POWDER is stoked that Sterbenz is back with the iconic brand that he launched from his early-aughts home in Tahoe, and we can’t wait to see how his re-involvement guides 4FRNT moving forward.
