5 Ski Brands We're Excited To See At Boston's Snowbound Expo 2025

Industry trade shows are like the science fairs of middle school–except a lot more fun.

We all get to hang out together and check out one another’s booths, but now there are no teachers haunting the aisles, and usually plenty of adult beverages going around. In other words—a grand old time.

Boston’s upcoming Snowboard Expo is 2025’s biggest community-oriented trade show, and a great opportunity to check out next year’s latest and greatest gear in person that you might not find elsewhere. The show runs November 14-16, 2025, at Boston’s Menino Convention and Exhibition Center.

Besides brand exhibits, there’re all kinds of other fun things to check out, including a trampoline demo, an indoor ski slope, celebrity meet and greets, and plenty of talks and seminars about all things skiing from industry leaders, athletes, and more. This year, pro skiers Amie Engerbretson and Todd Ligare, media personality Donny Pelletier, world record uphill vert skier Noah Dines, and pro sit skier Jay Rawe will all be speaking.

Looking through the list of brands who will be there, here’s a shortlist of displays we’re the most excited to check out.

1. Oakley

We’ve long been fans of Oakley’s sunglasses and goggles for skiing, but the eyewear brand’s recent release of Meta AI-enabled smart glasses for athletes are a total game changer. We’ve tested the lifestyle-oriented HSTN glasses, but the new Vanguard Meta puts smart glasses tech into a package skiers will actually wear on the mountain for the first time. We’re sure they’ll have a few pairs of these on hand for you to check out in person.

The new Salomon QST 100.

2. Salomon

If you haven’t seen Salomon’s newest QST ski line in person, these skis are a sight to behold. Go check them out, give them a flex, and maybe you too will walk away with a pair to rip around on this upcoming season. Oh, and did we mention they just released Dual BOA boots too?

The new Armada ARV 106Ti.

3. Armada

Another one of our favorite ski brands, Armada will be present, showing off everything from their newest line of ski boots to next year’s finest freestyle skis. Oh, and did we mention they have this year’s most anticipated ski movie coming out soon?

4. Mountain Flow

Ok, we’ll admit that ski wax isn’t usually all that interesting–it’s just one of those things that you never think about if it works well. Mountain Flow takes a different approach to the matter, producing eco-friendly ski and board wax that’s not filled with any nasty PFAS chemicals. Oh, and they have a sweet portable infrared waxer that makes at-home waxing mess-free and really fast.

Blizzard Rustler 11.

5. Blizzard/Tecnica

Longtime makers of some of our favorite hard-charging skis and boots, Blizzard and Tecnica will be showing off their wares at the show. We have some intel on brand-new products that might pique your interest that may or may not be there at the show, plus we know they’ll be showing off the latest from their W2W women’s gear program including skis and boots fine-tuned for women.
