Sugarbush Resort’s Golf Clubhouse and Pub Destroyed In Overnight Fire

The Warren Volunteer Fire Department in Vermont responded to the Sugarbush Resort’s Golf Course on Thursday morning for a reported structure fire. The golf course is located approximately 1.5 miles east of the slopes. According to the Vermont State Police, Golf Club Road was shut down while firefighters battled the blaze. Thankfully no injuries were reported but the Clubhouse and Hogan’s Pub were damaged beyond repair. Sugarbush is currently exploring options of how to maintain golf operations through the end of the season. The cause of the fire has not yet been reported. Read Sugarbush’s statement bellow.

Sugarbush Statement:

Last night at approximately 10:30 PM Warren’s volunteer fire department responded to a fire occurring at the Sugarbush Resort Golf Club. Thankfully and most important, nobody was hurt or injured. However unfortunately, the Clubhouse and Hogan’s Pub suffered irreparable damage.

We want to sincerely thank the Warren, Waitsfield, and Fayston fire departments for their hardwork and professionalism. We are currently working through a plan to continue golf operations for the remainder of the season and will share more information as soon as we have it.
