Free Lift Tickets, Lessons, and Gear—Ikon Pass Partners With Non-Profits on Impactful Grants
Ahead of the 2025-26 season, the Ikon Pass’ Mountain Access Program is granting free passes, gear, and rentals in partnership with organizations that aim to make snow sports more accessible for underrepresented groups like Women of Color and Native people.
Through the Mountain Access Program, the Ikon Pass is working alongside SheJumps and Native Youth Outdoors. Those selected for the grants will receive an Ikon Pass, a half-day ski or snowboard lesson at participating mountains, and gear from Nordica.
Applications for the program close on September 29, 2025. You can apply and learn more by following this link. SheJumps and Native Youth Outdoors have separate Mountain Access application portals and will select 40 participants each.

The Native Youth Outdoors grant is open to Native skiers and riders of all experience levels and ages. Women and non-binary people 18 or older can apply for the SheJumps grant.
Both organizations note, “Successful program participants are committed to regularly participating in skiing or snowboarding during the 2025-26 winter.”
The Ikon Pass, Native Youth Outdoors, and SheJumps will announce the 2025-26 Mountain Access Program group in October.
Founded in 2007, SheJumps works to expand the number of girls and women participating in outdoor sports—you might know the nonprofit from its iconic Girafficorn logo and stickers. Native Youth Outdoors has a similar mission, focused on helping Native youth find outdoor recreation opportunities.
“I got to meet new people in the process, and I got to meet more Native skiers & snowboarders. Growing up in Colorado, I had never seen other Native people skiing,” said one person who joined the Mountain Access Program during the 2024-25 season.
Skiing, of course, is better shared. And the Mountain Access Program is a small but impactful way that the Ikon Pass, SheJumps, and Native Youth Outdoors are getting more people stoked about the best sport on the planet.
