Cosmic Tubing Coming To Historic New Hampshire Ski Resort

North Conway, New Hampshire One of New Hampshire’s oldest ski resorts is continuing its recent growth during the 2025-26 season.

Last week, Cranmore Mountain Resort announced what’s new for the 2025-26 season. The major addition for this upcoming winter at Cranmore is the introduction of Cosmic Tubing. Cranmore is already known as having one of the best tubing parks in New England. It will be the first in New Hampshire to have cosmic tubing, a festive night skiing experience complete with funky lights and music. This is already a popular activity at ski areas like Nashoba Valley and Smugglers Notch.

This video of Mt. Hood Skibowl shows an example of Cosmic Tubing.

The Cranapalooza event series, which is held every Saturday, Holiday, and days during Vacation Weeks, will be moved to the Fairbank Lodge patio to improve accessibility. The activities include a live DJ, family games, s’mores, and photo opportunities with Cranmore’s mascot, C-More. Live après music will also be making its way to Zip’s Pub on Saturdays and Holiday weeks.

A new snowcat (PistenBully 600 E Plus Cat) has also been purchased. This replaces Cranmore’s first E-Cat, which arrived in 2016. Featuring a Tier 4 engine, the E+ reduces fuel consumption, noise, and CO2 emissions by up to 20%. This means better grooming, along with the addition of a snowcat that’s more sustainable for the environment.

Cranmore Mountain Resort looks a lot different than it did a decade ago. Its base area has undergone significant development, including the construction of various buildings with condominiums, two new base lodges (Artist Falls and Fairbank), and a new Fairfield Inn & Suites hotel. Other recent improvements include new connector trails, snowmaking upgrades, and additions to the summer adventure park.
