How Professional Skateboarder Sandro Dias Prepares To Drop The World’s Biggest Ramp

For a few weeks now, attention in the extreme sports world has been turned toward Brazil where Red Bull has been building the world’s largest skate ramp on the side of the Centro Administrativo Fernando Ferrari. The CAFF government building’s unique shape has been the subject of myths and legends surrounding its skateboarding potential for years, and now professional skateboarder Sandro Dias is preparing to drop it on September 25th.
With Guinness World Records
officials present, Dias will start with a 30 meter (98.5 feet) drop, already bigger than most skate ramps. He’ll then work his way up until he reaches 75 meters (246 feet), marking the world’s largest skateboard drop.
To prepare for this incredible feat, Dias has undergone speed training, g-force training, weight training, and more. The record attempt for the highest skateboard drop-in will be broadcast live on Red Bull YouTube and Red Bull TV channels starting at 12pm local time. Don’t miss it!
