Alpine Fleet Expands for Next Winter
The idea behind Alpine Fleet is to offer a service that has a full choice of passenger transportation services.
As well as shared and private transfers it offers journeys for all kinds of passenger numbers, groups and corporate events.
Unlike some other transfer operators who tend to focus on a handful of ski resorts, Alpine Fleet offers coverage across the French, Austrian and Swiss Alps including.
Tignes, Val Thorens, Morzine, Les Gets, Meribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isere, Avoriaz, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Verbier, La Rosiere, Les Menuires, Chamonix, Les2Alpes, Alpe d’Huez, Flaine, Samoens, Morillion & Les Carroz.
The company now offers a private transfer services from Zurich Airport in Switzerland.
It’s most popular ski destinations include Zurich to St Anton, Lech & Ischgl , plus Davos &  St Moritz in Switzerland.
Here are the core strengths of Alpine Fleet:
- Service options: You can choose shared transfers (fixed-point or door-to-door), or private transfers (standard or premium). The premium service includes nicer vehicles, more waiting time, and additional onboard extras.
- Multiple airports served: Geneva is the main hub for shared transfers, but there are expanded private transfer services from other airports like Lyon, Grenoble and Zürich.
- Wide resort coverage: Among the top destinations are Morzine, Val Thorens, Tignes, Meribel, Courchevel, Val d’Isere, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Chamonix, and more. The shared services cover many of the more-popular resorts.
- User-friendly online tools: Flexible booking, ability to amend reservations, online tracking, and clear maps of resort stops. This helps travellers know which stop is nearest their accommodation.
- Value for money: Shared transfers start from around €19.50 for some routes. For travellers willing to share, this can be much more cost-effective than private or premium services.
- Customer care & reputation: 4.3-4.5 Trustpilot rating, many positive reviews praising reliability and helpful service. Trustpilot
Alpine Fleet is expanding and adding new services, routes, and improvements for the upcoming winter season:
- 5- days per week with shared transfers to the Tarantaise
- Grenoble Airport to Alpe D’Huez and Les Deux Alpes
- Further refinement of door-to-door shared services, possibly more resorts included or more frequent schedules

What to Watch Out For / Considerations:
Shared transfers mean compromises: More stops, less flexibility in timing. If you’re arriving late, you might wait for other passengers. It’s a trade-off for lower cost.
Weather & traffic may affect schedules: Given Alpine weather, road conditions, or even disruptions (e.g. strikes, snow blockades) can cause delays or require planning ahead. Alpine Fleet seems pretty responsive, but travellers should allow buffer time.
We have reported on some of these in the past on PlanetSKI:
- Road to major French ski resort re-opens
- Calls for dedicated transfer lan to some of the major French ski resorts
- French farmers lift blockades

Book early: New routes and services are expanding, but capacity (especially for premium/private or door-to-door) may be limited. Advance booking improves options and pricing.
